Standard Warranty for Sentry Electric Luminaires

Subject to any exclusions and exceptions set forth below, Sentry Electric LLC (“Sentry”) warrants its luminaires to be free from defects in materials and workmanship in accordance with the provisions of the “Warrantied Components and Elements” section below. The warranty period, as defined below, begins with the date of manufacture as marked on the label inside the luminaire housing.

Warrantied Components and Elements
	1.	All Luminaires: All luminaire housings, decorative elements, reflectors, lenses, and mechanical structures, inclusive of the paint finish, shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of luminaire manufacture.
	2.	Luminaires with LED Light Sources: LED circuit boards, LED power supplies (drivers), and internal wiring harnesses shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of luminaire manufacture.
	3.	Luminaires with Magnetic High Intensity Discharge (HID) Light Sources: Magnetic HID ballasts shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of luminaire manufacture.
	4.	Luminaires with Induction Light Sources: Induction lamps, power couplers, generators/ballasts, and internal wiring harnesses shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of luminaire manufacture.
	5.	Luminaires with Other Light Sources: Contact Sentry Electric factory.

If the luminaire’s elements and components fail to operate in accordance with the terms and conditions of this warranty, at Sentry’s option, Sentry will either provide a replacement luminaire or repair the luminaire. This warranty does not include charges incurred by the owner for the luminaire’s removal, re-installation, or transportation, nor does it include labor and transportation associated with replacement parts.

This warranty applies under circumstances where the luminaire is installed in applications and conditions in accordance with the product’s design and specifications. This warranty shall not apply for the following circumstances, occurrences and/or conditions:

			1.	Normal weathering, lens breakage, lightning, acts of nature, and excessive induced vibration.
			2.	Misuse, vandalism, fire, improper handling, improper maintenance, improper alteration of the product from its original configuration, and improper storage.
			3.	Damage caused by animals and insects.
			4.	Improper supply of electrical power, or exposure to unsuitable electrical power anomalies.
			5.	Other external factors outside of Sentry’s reasonable control.

Exclusions and/or Limitations:

This warranty is void if, without Sentry’s prior written approval, any component is changed in a manner that does not conform to the originally supplied luminaire.

This warranty is for the exclusive use of the original owner only.

This warranty may be voided if the owner fails to provide valid, updated installation/maintenance records.

Sentry shall have no liability for loss of use of the lighting equipment or associated facility, inconveniences, damage to property, loss of revenue, liquidated damages, or other damages arising from the luminaires covered under this warranty.

This warranty is void if the luminaire is not suitably grounded. Any such grounding must be in compliance with local codes and jurisdictions.
