SUB-USD-LED South West

SUB-USD South West, a 4-sided lantern ideal for lighting campuses, parks and plazas in suburbs everywhere. This distinctive luminaire adds a unique touch to any location, and features a prominent hood and decorative side panels.  Features high-strength cast and fabricated aluminum structure. Incorporates vandal resistant polycarbonate panels.

The SUB-USD with LED provides several choices of the most current light engine technology to deliver high lumen output, exceptional light distribution, superior visual comfort, extended service life, and energy reduction.


All components to be of high-strength cast and fabricated aluminum. Panels are polycarbonate for vandal resistance. Fixture shall be hinged for easy access.

LED components and driver(s) are securely affixed to the mechanical structures. A thermal management system dissipates heat to insure compliance with ratings of the LED components and driver.


Four flat polycarbonate panels. Available in symmetric and asymmetric reflector/refractor configurations to optimize performance, distribution, and visual comfort.


Meets UL 1598 for safety. Luminaire shall utilize voltage sensing 120-277V driver, suitably rated for the specified LED light engine(s).  Luminaire shall be prewired and factory tested.

Surge Protection

Surge protected line-neutral, line-ground, and neutral-ground in accordance with ANSI/IEEE 62.41, Category C3.


To insure product durability, the luminaire shall be finished with a high performance coating consisting of high gloss Super Durable polyester powder coat paint to be applied utilizing a multistage process that includes phosphate pretreatment, electrostatic powder application, and convection curing.  Paint shall be weather, corrosion, abrasion, and UV resistant in compliance with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association’s specification AAMA 2604-05.  Color to be specified.


Mounting tenon is 4-1/4” square by 6” high. Tenon is designed to fit internally on 5” square pole. Pole and luminaire tenon shall be field drilled to accommodate a 3/8”-16 UNC hex head bolt designed to pass completely through the pole/luminaire tenon assembly and be secured on the opposite side with a Nyloc nut. All mounting hardware shall be stainless steel.
