SRL-LED Roadway Luminaire
The SRL-LED Roadway luminaire provides time-proven design for streets and boulevards while its innovative optics deliver the many benefits associated with solid state lighting technology. Most notably, users will realize a reduction in energy consumption, maintenance, downtime, and various costs associated with today’s sustainable initiatives.
Winner of a 2014 Product Innovation Award, the SRL-LED luminaire utilizes the most current solid state technology in providing a highly efficacious result. As specified, several light distributions are available to provide the desired optical performance.
The SRL-LED luminaire is highly resistant to damage, weather and the passage of time. With its high-strength cast aluminum structure and spring steel latches, it is able to withstand the rigors associated with roadway lighting. When side-mounting, an optional twist lock receptacle on the top of the luminaire allows for the attachment of a receptacle photo control.
All components to be of high-strength die cast aluminum. Refractor door is hinged to allow access to the luminaire’s interior. Optics shall be attached to the hinged door and shall create an IP-66 seal for the optical chamber.
The top of the housing allows for the optional mounting of a twist lock receptacle when using the side mount configuration.
LED components and driver(s) are securely affixed to the mechanical structures. A thermal management system dissipates heat to insure compliance with ratings of the LED components and driver(s).
Exceeds vibration standards detailed in ANSI C136.31-2001 Luminaire Vibration Testing. Exceeds New York City, Bridge and Roadway, Vibration and Shock Test Standards.
Frosted Acrylic refractor and internal optics in combination with LED module to optimize performance, distribution, and visual comfort.
Meets UL 1598 for Safety. Luminaire shall utilize voltage sensing 120-277V driver, suitably rated for the specified LED light engines. Luminaire shall be prewired and factory tested.
Surge current rating of 20 kA using standard 8/20 µSec wave. Protected line-neutral, line-ground, and neutral-ground in accordance with ANSI/IEEE 62.41, Category C3.
To insure product durability, all exposed metallic surfaces shall be finished with a high performance coating consisting of high gloss Super Durable polyester powder coat paint to be applied utilizing a multi stage process that includes phosphate pretreatment, electrostatic powder application, and convection curing. Paint shall be weather, corrosion, abrasion, and UV resistant in compliance with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association’s specification AAMA 2604-05. Color to be specified.
Side mounts to a slipfitter, which is gasketed and accepts 1 1/4” through 2 1/4” bracket arm.
Pendant mounts to a 1-1/4” NPS nipple using a 1-1/4” NPS coupling in top casting of luminaire. (1) 3/8”-16 UNC stainless steel allen head cup point set screw stops the luminaire from unwanted movement on the nipple.
