This impressive octagonal lantern features detailed lattice work in the hood and side panels, plus ornamental spikes all around the perimeter of the hood, creating a strong look with classic elegance. Mates tastefully with a variety of posts, period and contemporary, and melds beautifully with modern or traditional surroundings on streets, plazas, or, promenades.

Features a high-strength aluminum structure with polycarbonate panels. Hood is removable for relamping. Removable door in base for easy access to ballast compartment.

SPSN is designed to utilize a wide range of light sources, including LED, High Intensity Discharge (HID), and others. These light source families provide high efficiency in lumen output, service life and energy use.


All components, including hood and finial, to be of high-strength ASTM 356.1 cast aluminum and extruded aluminum. Polycarbonate panels, hood and base shall surround and create a weather tight chamber for the internal ballast and optical assembly. Removable hood for relamping. Fixture base has removable door for easy access to the ballast compartment. Removable ballast plate for easy maintenance.


Eight (8) flat polycarbonate panels and small decorative windows. Available in symmetrical and asymmetrical light distribution.

Available in a wide range of lamp choices and wattage ratings including High Intensity Discharge (HID) and Incandescent.

Optical systems include Globe Only and Borosilicate Glass Refractor.


Meets UL 1598 for Safety. Luminaire shall have porcelain socket rated for 600V with 4kV pulse and uses a nickel-plated screw shell with spring-loaded center contact and lamp grips. Luminaires shall be prewired and factory tested. The ballast shall be a high power factor, constant wattage autotransformer type. The power factor shall be at least 90%.


To insure product durability, all exposed metallic surfaces shall be finished with a high performance coating consisting of high gloss Super Durable polyester powder coat paint to be applied utilizing a multistage process that includes phosphate pretreatment, electrostatic powder application, and convection curing. Paint shall be weather, corrosion, abrasion, and UV resistant in compliance with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association’s specification AAMA 2604-05. Color to be specified.


Mounts to a Ø3” x 3” tall tenon. Eight (8) 3/8”-16 UNC stainless steel allen head cup point set screws secure luminaire to post top tenon. All mounting hardware shall be stainless steel.
