SEI-NS Ellis Island - No Struts

Originally created specifically for the Ellis Island National Monument in New York Harbor near the Statue of Liberty, this luminaire provides a classic globe design. It is suitable for illumination of parks, streets, plazas, or walkways.  The globe is UV stabilized polycarbonate (strongest material of its kind) and the ballast assembly is located securely within the decorative cast base, which mates esthetically with a variety of different posts.

These features, plus high quality electrical components, make SEI-NS post top luminaires highly resistant to damage, weather and the passage of time.

SEI is designed to utilize a wide range of light sources, including High Intensity Discharge (HID), LED, and incandescent. These light source families provide high efficiency in lumen output, service life and energy use.

All components and decorative base to be of high strength ASTM 356.1 cast aluminum.  Luminaire shall be fully welded creating one integral housing.  Seamless blow-molded polycarbonate, or, acrylic globe. Globe shall be easily removable for relamping and fixture maintenance.

Seamless blow-molded polycarbonate, or, acrylic globe.  Available in symmetrical and asymmetrical light distribution.  Asymmetrical light distribution utilizes internal borosilicate glass refractor.
