SCI-CW12-BOL-LED
Constructed in cast iron for durability, the SCI-CW12-BOL-LED bollard’s contours and fluting harmonize with Sentry’s decorative pole series, contributing to a sense of unity, recognition and order. The most current solid state technology is incorporated into this historically-styled design, thereby delivering aesthetic appeal with the benefits of LEDs.
SCI-CW12-BOL-LED contributes to a reduction in energy consumption plus overall maintenance, down time and costs associated with today’s sustainable initiatives. LED light sources are available in a range of color temperatures with a minimum of 50,000 hours of high CRI light, flattering to people, objects and structures. SCI-CW12-BOL-LED is an ideal choice for illuminating pathways, cross walks, driveways, parks, and other similar public spaces.
Construction |
The bollard shall be made from thick walled ASTM A48, Class 30, cast iron. One (1) access door in the base (4" x 3 1/2" minimum opening) shall be secured with stainless steel hardware. The top optical assembly shall create a weather tight chamber for the LED component(s), driver(s) and internal optics. |
Optical |
The optical assembly is comprised of an acrylic lens and refractive components that produce a symmetrical or asymmetrical light distribution. |
Electrical |
Meets UL 1598 for safety. Bollard shall utilize voltage sensing 120-277V driver, suitably rated for the specified LED component(s). Bollard shall be prewired and factory tested. |
Surge Protection |
Surge protected line-neutral, line-ground, and neutral-ground in accordance with ANSI/IEEE 62.41, Category C3. |
Installation |
The bollard shall be provided with (4) Ø1/2" x 18" long "L-Type" anchor bolts. Each anchor bolt shall be supplied assembled with (1) nut, (1) flat washer and (1) split lock washer. The bollard shall have a Ø8" bolt circle and requires a 3" anchor bolt projection. All anchorage hardware shall be fully galvanized. |
Finish |
The bollard shall be finished with a high performance coating achieved with a two step paint process. A two-part, rust inhibitive, high build catalyzed polyamide/bisphenol A epoxy base primer, and a finish coat that is a two-part aliphatic acrylic polyurethane. Paint shall be weather, corrosion, abrasion, and UV resistant in compliance with the Society for Protective Coatings SSPC-36 (level 3) paint standard. Color to be specified. |
