SAL-7.5P-BOL-LED Architectural Round

Constructed with a cast aluminum top and extruded aluminum shaft, Sentry's Architectural Round bollard harmonizes with Sentry luminaires and poles, contributing to a sense of unity, recognition and order. Each bollard incorporates the most current light engine technology in Sentry’s time honored, decorative designs, thereby delivering both aesthetic appeal with the benefits of LEDs.

LED bollards contribute a reduction in energy consumption plus overall maintenance, down time and costs associated with today’s sustainable initiatives. LED bollards are available in a range of color temperatures with a minimum of 50,000 hours of high CRI light, flattering to people, objects and structures. Sentry LED architectural aluminum bollards are an ideal choice for illuminating pathways, cross walks, driveways, parks, and other similar public spaces.


The bollard head and base cover shall be made from cast ASTM 356.1 aluminum construction.  Bollard column shall be made from 7.5" O.D. extruded aluminum tube.

The top optical assembly shall create a weather tight chamber for the LED component(s), driver(s) and internal optics, which are securely affixed to the mechanical structures.  The optical assembly shall be accessible to allow for maintenance.


The bollard shall have an overall height of 44". The bollard column shall be 7 1/2" in diameter. The optional base cover shall be 12" in diameter.  The lens shall be 8" in diameter.


The optical assembly is comprised of an acrylic lens and refractive components that produce a symmetrical or asymmetrical light distribution. 


Meets UL 1598 for safety.  Bollard shall utilize voltage sensing 120-277V driver, suitably rated for the specified LED component(s).  Bollard shall be prewired and factory tested.

Surge Protection

Surge protected line-neutral, line-ground, and neutral-ground in accordance with ANSI/IEEE 62.41, Category C3.


The bollard shall be provided with (3) Ø1/2" x 18" long "L-Type" anchor bolts.  Each anchor bolt shall be supplied with (1) nut, (1) flat washer and (1) split lock washer.  The bollard shall have a Ø4 1/2" bolt circle and requires a 2 1/2" anchor bolt projection. The bollard shall slip over an anchorage base and be held in place by (4) 1/4"-20 UNC stainless steel flat head screws.  Anchorage hardware fully galvanized.


To insure product durability, the bollard shall be finished with a high performance coating consisting of high gloss Super Durable polyester powder coat paint to be applied utilizing a multistage process that includes phosphate pretreatment, electrostatic powder application, and convection curing.  Paint shall be weather, corrosion, abrasion, and UV resistant in compliance with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association’s specification AAMA 2604-05.  Color to be specified.
