New York's famed Central Park gets all its light from this exquisite luminaire created in 1980 to mate stylistically with the 1910 posts that still stand there today. SCP Central Park was the winner of a design competition conducted by the Central Park Conservancy and a Sentry exclusive. The SCP is justly celebrated for its tulip silhouette and botanical ornamentation in bas-relief.
Built to NYC's vandal resistance specifications with high-strength cast aluminum structure and polycarbonate globe. Several decorative bases are available for appropriate mating with a variety of ornamental posts.
SCP is designed to utilize a wide range of light sources, including High Intensity Discharge (HID), Compact Fluorescent, Induction and others. These light source families provide the highest efficiency in lumen output, service life and energy use.
